Christmas is a time to share, for spiritual reflection, and to connect and re-connect with family and friends.
As Consul General, it is my pleasure to extend God’s blessings for a merry Christmas, and wish much success in the New Year to nationals of Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique living in the United States of America.
The staff of the Consulate General, as well as Prime Minister Honourable Tillman Thomas and the Government and people of Grenada, also would like to express fraternal greetings to our Brothers and Sisters in New York, including the many non-nationals who have befriended our nation and have assisted us in one way or another.
Please remember the reason for Christmas is Christ; like Christ, practice love, sharing, kindness and all good virtues in your interaction with others. May we also use this holiday season to spend quality time with family, friends and loved ones. Be a good neighbour to the less fortunate or to the stranger that you are meeting for the first time.
May God richly bless you all! Once again, have yourselves a Merry Christmas 2009, and a bright and prosperous 2010.
